Learning through play
In the nursery we support each child’s development by planning learning experiences and supporting children’s learning through play and active exploration. We provide a wide variety of play experiences based on children's interests and learning contexts. Learning occurs as the child experiences things for themselves.
The learning environments are fundamental to supporting children's learning and within the 3 to 5 room the children have opportunities to learn across the curriculum by engaging in the following experiences:
- Mark making and writing.
- Stories, songs and rhymes.
